Railway Alert: Multiple Trains Cancelled, Short-Terminated On Old Delhi-Rewari Route This Weekend; Check Full List

Jagran Correspondent, New Delhi: Rail passengers travelling on the Old Delhi-Rewari route are expected to face significant disruptions on Friday and Saturday as Indian Railways is installing an automatic signalling system along the Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Patel Nagar-Delhi Cantt-Palam corridor.

To facilitate the work, several express and passenger services along the section have been cancelled, while others have been short-terminated or diverted.

Speaking to Jagran.com, officials stated that once operational, the automatic signalling system will make train operations safer and smoother. Passengers scheduled to travel on Friday and Saturday are advised to check train statuses before heading to the station.

List Of Trains Cancelled On Friday And Saturday

Several trains operating on the Old Delhi-Rewari section will remain cancelled on Friday and Saturday due to essential works on the route:

- Vande Bharat and Double Decker: Jodhpur-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express (26481/26482) and Jaipur-Delhi Sarai Rohilla AC Double Decker (12985/12986).

- Shatabdi and Express Services: Ajmer-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Jan Shatabdi Express (12065/12066), Chandigarh-Bandra Terminus Superfast (22452), Sirsa-Tilak Bridge Express (15308), and Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Bhuj Superfast (20984).

- Local and Regional Services: New Delhi-Shakur Basti EMU (64095), Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Farukhnagar DEMU (74033/74036), and Old Delhi-Rewari Passenger (54421/54417).

- Saturday Cancellation: Bandra Terminus-Chandigarh Superfast (22451) will remain cancelled on Saturday.
