Rajasthan Rain Forecast: Rainy spells are likely to take a halt in Rajasthan for the next few days, while the weather department has predicted heavy downpour in multiple districts on Monday. As per the latest weather forecast, the rain is likely to return after a temporary break. The weather department has issued a yellow alert in five districts of the state for heavy to very heavy rainfall with strong winds, thunderstorms and lightning. 

Rajasthan Weather Today: Yellow Alert in Five Districts

According to the Meteorological Department, many districts in Rajasthan are expected to experience very heavy rainfall on Monday, prompting the department to issue a yellow alert in five southern districts. The affected districts include Banswara, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh and Udaipur. The alert is in place for heavy to very heavy rainfall, lightning and thunderstorms. There is a possibility of strong and gusty winds as well.

The weather department anticipated the halt in rain activity in the region for the next 6-7 days. A new system is expected to become active around 27-28 July after a temporary break, leading to heavy to very heavy rains. 

The heavy rainfall in the state heavily impacted life in the state, increasing the level of water bodies and creating a flood-like situation at various places. 

In Jaipur, the Narena Dam's embankment breach has isolated several hamlets, disrupting connectivity. Meanwhile, the Kanota Dam has overflowed, and the Bisalpur Dam in Tonk district has reached nearly 90% of its full capacity, highlighting the region's heavy rainfall impact.

Rajasthan Weather Forecast: Yellow Alert In Several Districts

The weather forecast indicates a possibility of heavy rain at various places in several districts of Rajasthan on Tuesday. The weather department has placed at least seven districts on a yellow alert on Tuesday. The districts likely to experience heavy rainfall are Alwar, Bharatpur, Dausa, Bundi, Kota, Jhalawar, and Baran.
