Rajasthan Weather: Strong Winds, Dust Storms, And Light Rain Predicted In Udaipur, Ajmer, Bikaner, And Nearby Districts For Next 5 Days

Rajasthan Weather Update: Rajasthan is once again gearing up for a notable change in its weather pattern. According to the latest update from the Meteorological Centre in Jaipur, several regions across the state are likely to experience strong winds, dust storms, and light rainfall over the coming days.

Today, gusty winds blowing at speeds of 40-50 kmph are expected in parts of the Udaipur, Ajmer, and Kota divisions, especially during the afternoon. Some areas may also see light rain showers. Elsewhere, the weather is predicted to remain largely dry.

The ongoing heatwave is intensifying, with Sri Ganganagar recording a scorching maximum temperature of 46.0 degrees C — 3.3 degrees C above the normal average. The heatwave is forecast to persist in the Bikaner, Jodhpur, and Shekhawati regions for the next four to five days. Authorities have issued warnings for dangerously high temperatures in several parts of the Bikaner division.

Strong dusty winds reaching 30-40 kmph are expected in the border areas of the Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions over the next three to four days. These regions may also see heavy winds and rainfall around 20-21 May.

In addition, parts of the Kota, Udaipur, and Bharatpur divisions are likely to experience light rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds between 19 and 25 May.

The Meteorological Centre has advised residents to stay alert and avoid unnecessary outdoor exposure during this period for their safety.
