Rajasthan Weather: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for September 17 in nine districts of the state, including Bundi, Kota, Baran, Jhalawar, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Pratapgarh, Dungarpur, and Banswara, where light to moderate rainfall is expected.
On Sunday, Sriganganagar recorded the highest maximum temperature in Rajasthan at 37.6 degrees Celsius, while Sirohi registered the lowest minimum at 17.0 degrees Celsius. Weather experts said that with the withdrawal of monsoon, daytime temperatures are likely to rise gradually, but nights will turn pleasant. In the coming days, dry conditions will prevail as the state slowly transitions into autumn.
Between September 17 and 20, eastern Rajasthan is expected to receive rainfall, particularly in Jaipur, Kota, Udaipur, Bharatpur, and Ajmer divisions, where light to moderate showers and thundershowers are likely.

According to IMD data, Sunday’s minimum temperatures were recorded as follows: Ajmer 23.3 Degree Celsius, Bhilwara 23.6 Degree Celsius, Jaipur 26.9 Degree Celsius, Pilani 24.2 Degree Celsius, Sikar 24.6 Degree Celsius, Kota 24.7 Degree Celsius, Chittorgarh 23.7 Degree Celsius, Barmer 25.7 Degree Celsius, Jaisalmer 24.3 Degree Celsius, Jodhpur 24.5 Degree Celsius, Bikaner 25.6 Degree Celsius, Churu 25.1 Degree Celsius, Sri Ganganagar 26.8 Degree Celsius, Nagaur 23.6 Degree Celsius, Jalore 23.2 Degree Celsius, Sirohi 17.0 Degree Celsius, Karauli 26.3 Degree Celsius, and Dausa 26.4 Degree Celsius.
Jaipur Weather Update
The city is likely to remain partly cloudy between September 14 and 18, with rain expected on September 19. During this period, maximum temperatures will range between 34-36 Degree Celsius, while minimums will stay between 25-26 Degree Celsius. Humidity levels will fluctuate between 40-60 percent, making the weather feel relatively dry.
Due to the early withdrawal of monsoon, both farmers and residents have been advised to stay cautious about possible water shortages. However, the anticipated rainfall in eastern parts of the state may bring some relief. The shifting weather pattern across Rajasthan is expected to influence both agriculture and water resources.
