Rajasthan Weather: The weather in Rajasthan has become highly unpredictable in recent days. While some areas are grappling with extreme heat and heatwaves, others are experiencing sudden dust storms and rainfall, often within the same day. In several districts, scorching temperatures persist until afternoon, only to be followed by stormy weather and rain later in the day, leading to sharp fluctuations in temperature.

Barmer remains one of the hottest regions in the state, recording a maximum temperature of 46.6 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has indicated that relief from this extreme heat may arrive in the next two days.

Storm, Rain Alert Issued For 15 Districts

The Jaipur Meteorological Centre has issued a storm and rain alert for Wednesday, May 28, affecting 15 districts across Rajasthan. Winds are expected to reach speeds of 40 to 50 km/h, accompanied by light to moderate rain in some areas.

Districts under the alert include: Barmer, Bikaner, Hanumangarh, Ganganagar, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Jalore, Banswara, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, and Udaipur.

Residents in these areas are advised to stay updated with weather reports and take necessary precautions against sudden weather changes.

While several parts of Rajasthan experienced rainfall and storm activity, intense heat continued to grip many districts on Tuesday. The highest temperature was recorded in Barmer at a scorching 46.6°C, highlighting the ongoing heatwave in western Rajasthan.

Other regions also witnessed extremely high temperatures:

- Jaisalmer recorded 45.4°C

- Phalodi saw 45.2°C

- Jodhpur reached 44.3°C

- Bikaner and Jalore both reported 43.5°C

- Kota recorded 43.1°C

- Chittorgarh hit 42.8°C

- Pali reported 42.5°C

- Churu and Ganganagar each registered 42.2°C

Despite localised rainfall in some areas, these high temperatures reflect the ongoing heatwave conditions across much of the state, especially in western Rajasthan.
