The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Monday announced that elections for the 56 Rajya Sabha seats in 15 states will be held on February 27. The polling will be held between 9 am and 4 pm, and the counting of the votes will take place on the same day at 5 pm.
According to the ECI notification, the last date for filing nominations is February 15 and the scrutiny of nomination papers will be done on February 16. The candidates can withdraw their nominations till February 20.
