RapidX: India's first Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) train, Also known as RapidX Rail, will be known as 'Namo Bharat'. The futuristic train, which will be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 20 from the Sahibabad station in Ghaziabad, will have CCTV cameras, Platform Seen Doors, a state-of-the-art communication system and WiFi.
Earlier today, Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, reached Uttar Pradesh house in Delhi before the scheduled flag-off ceremony of the train from the Sahibabad station. He also convened a review meeting with officials and party leaders responsible for implementing the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) project in the National Capital Region (NCR).

To improve passenger comfort, specific arrangements have been made at RapidX train stations to cater to the needs of elderly, specially-abled, and female passengers. Stations like Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai, and Duhai Depot are furnished with lift and escalator facilities.

Facilities such as complimentary restrooms and drinking water are accessible for elderly passengers, and designated spaces are allocated for mothers to attend to their children's diaper-changing needs. The initiation of operations will bring additional advantages to students attending educational institutions in neighbouring cities and villages.
The prime segment of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS will comprise five stations: Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai, and Duhai Depot. Passenger fares will differ based on the service class and travel distance.
Standard Class prices will vary between Rs 20 and Rs 50, while Premium Class fares will commence at Rs 40 and extend up to Rs 100. A journey from Sahibabad to Ghaziabad in standard class will take only 30 rupees whereas passengers will need to pay 60 for the premium service.
