Narendra Modi will take the oath as the Prime Minister of India for the straight third term on June 9, Sunday at the Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi. The preparations for the swearing-in ceremony are going in full swing as many international dignitaries are expected to attend the event. Rashtrapati Bhawan on Saturday shared visuals of the arrangement being done to facilitate the large number of attendees at the PM-designate Narendra Modi's oath-taking ceremony.
The video shared by the Rashtrapati Bhawan showed the stage, sitting area and other arrangements. Workers arrange the chairs, while security guards are in full swing to provide a holistic security cover to the attendees. Portable air conditioners, air coolers and fans have also been placed to provide relief to the guests in attendance as Delhi's temperature remained as high as 42 degrees Celsius.
Along with the Rashtrapati Bhawan, Delhi Police implemented strong security measures in the national capital territory. Multiple-layer security cover has been devised to provide robust security to the dignitaries. Five companies of paramilitary forces have been deployed around Rashtrapati Bhavan. NSG commandos, drones, and snipers will also be on alert around the premises.
Border checks, traffic movement regulation and consistent vigils are being undertaken by the Delhi Police. Delhi was declared a no-fly zone on June 9 to avoid any untoward incident. Drones, Paragliders and other flying objects have been barred for Sunday.
