RJD Manifesto 2024: With just one week remaining for the upcoming general elections, former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav along with other party leaders release "Parivartan Patra". Speaking at the release event, Yadav said that the party is committed to fulfilling the 24 promises outlined in the manifesto. He claimed that the manifesto focuses on crucial developmental issues for Bihar.

"Today, we have released our 'Parivartan Patra'. We are bringing 24 promises in 2024, which is our commitment that we will fulfil. It has a lot of important issues regarding the development of Bihar," the RJD leader said during the manifesto release.

RJD Manifesto: Key Announcements And Highlights

- The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) party on Saturday promised to build five new airports in Bihar’s Purnea, Bhagalpur, Muzzafarpur, Gopalganj and Raxaul in its manifesto 'Parivartan Patra'.

- The party, in its manifesto, also promised to implement OPS (Old Pension Scheme) and will provide special status to Bihar.

- Yadav also promised Rs 1 lakh per year to "sisters" from poor families on Raksha Bandhan. The manifesto also added to provide cooking gas cylinders at Rs 500.

- If our INDIA alliance is voted to power, we will give government jobs to one crore youth across the country. From August 15 onwards the process of providing jobs will start. On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, we will provide Rs 1 lakh to our sisters belonging to the poor household, every year. We will provide gas cylinders at Rs 500," he said.

- RJD also promised to give government jobs to 1 crore youth across the country.
