A tragic murder incident has taken place in the swanky mansion that featured in Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh starrer Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. As per a report in Indian Express, a 55-year-old man was murdered at the Greater Noida property on Monday evening while he was attending a wedding.

The man was allegedly shot dead by his son’s father-in-law.

The property, located in Sector 1, Noida Extension, Greater Noida, was utilized as the residence of the Randhawa family in the movie.

The deceased was identified as Ashok Yadav, who was a resident of Sector 51 in Noida. During a wedding ceremony at Gaur Mulberry Farmhouse in Greater Noida West one Shekhar shot Ashok dead as the children of the duo were going through a rough patch in their wedding, News 18 reported while quoting Suniti, the deputy commissioner of police for Central Noida. A widespread ruckus was witnessed after the gunshot and Shekhar managed to flee the crime scene.

The film features Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles, with Shabana Azmi, Dharmendra and Jaya Bachchan playing their grandparents.
