A social media post claiming that Mumbai's infrastructure is better than Singapore's has received humorous reactions from the netizens. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), a man claimed that the metro and road infrastructure of Mumbai is much better than Singapore. He also shared a small video of a troublesome bus ride in Singapore to support his argument. However, the netizens stated that the post author was not being rational while making this comparison. The users stated that several parts of Mumbai witness severe waterlogging after just a few hours of rain, leading to inconveniences. They also pointed out that the city lacks a number of local trains, as the trains are usually overloaded.

In his post, the social media user stated that apart from roads and the metro, the CCTV infrastructure of Mumbai is also top-notch. "After personal experience, I am saying this that Mumbai's Infrastructure is better than Singapore's. Be it Roads, Metro. Their Gardens are too good! CCTV infra is way, way better being part of Greater China. Also, I do not have low self-esteem, and I don't get easily swayed. Our is simply better," the user stated in his post.

However, the social media users took a dig by reminding the post author about the potholes and traffic disruptions. "Totally agree with your “unbiased” comparison! Mumbai’s pothole adventure is unmatched, and our metro is practically a thrill ride. Why settle for Singapore’s boring smooth roads, peaceful gardens, and efficient CCTV coverage? Real character is dodging traffic and feeling like you’re in an action movie just crossing the street here. Nothing beats the Mumbai experience," one of the users pointed out.

"Don’t say anything for engagement!! Have you been in Andheri or Borivili East? Singapore PCI is $96,000, India is $3,000. Their urban infrastructure is better than US. It will take 25-40 years for Mumbai to match Singapore and only if Fadnavis ji is CM for next 10 years," another user pointed out.
