SpiceJet has announced that it would start operating daily nonstop flights between Delhi and Kathmandu on May 10, 2025. Following its successful Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP), the airline announced its first new international route on Friday.

“We are thrilled to introduce daily non-stop flights between Delhi and Kathmandu, one of the most sought-after routes in the region. Think ancient temples, bustling bazaars, and the gateway to eight of the world’s tallest peaks, including Everest – all just a SpiceJet flight away! And for our friends in Nepal, Delhi becomes your springboard to the world, with seamless connections to Dubai, the Middle East, and beyond!” said Debojo Maharshi, Chief Business Officer of SpiceJet.

SpiceJet's international network, which already includes well-known locations like Dubai and Bangkok, is strengthened with this new route, which is operated by a Boeing 737 aircraft. Maharshi further underlined that the airline's dedication to increasing connectivity and providing customers with more reasonably priced travel alternatives is in line with the establishment of this route.
