Srinagar Weather: The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for rain in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh for the next few days. Kashmir has witnessed a drop in both day and night-time temperatures after the upper mountain regions received rain and fresh snowfall. Srinagar registered a maximum temperature of 19.5 degrees Celsius on Sunday. Gulmarg was colder with a temperature of 7.6 degrees Celsius.
Pahalgam was at 16.1 degrees Celsius, which is 6.9 degrees below the normal temperature. The Jammu area recorded a temperature of 35.5 degrees Celsius. Light to moderate rain/ thundershowers is likely in multiple areas on June 4, Tuesday. For the next two days, June 5 and 6, dry conditions are expected. Some locations might see drizzle or light rain in the afternoon.

North India Weather Update
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), light rain is likely to drench Delhi on Tuesday as well. Apart from this, strong winds are also likely to blow in many areas.
People were reeling under severe heat in Rajasthan but an abrupt change in weather on Monday brought a bit of respite from the heat. Many parts of the state witnessed rain and strong winds.
At the same time, when it comes to Uttar Pradesh, many districts are bearing the brunt of severe heat. IMD has also given an update regarding the monsoon in UP. The department has issued a yellow alert for rain in some districts. According to the Meteorological Department, clouds will remain in the sky most of the time. Apart from this, there is a possibility of wind blowing at a speed of 40 to 45 kilometres per hour.
