  3. Mogili harassed Mahesh's lover after jail.

A man allegedly learned ways to commit murder from YouTube and brutally killed a man who had attempted to rape her lover and used to harass her in Telangana's Karimnagar.

The accused has been identified as 40-year-old Bangarpu Mahesh. The police investigation revealed that the deceased, 52-year-old Paytari Mogili, was a farm labourer. Mogili was accused by a married woman of attempting to rape her.

The complaint led to jail. The woman was in a relationship with Mahesh. After Mogili was released from jail, he came to know about their relationship and started harassing the woman again. He also used to humiliate Mahesh for his relationship with the woman.

Mogili even spread the news in several nearby villages, defaming them, causing immense tension between their families.

Enraged by the constant social humiliation, Mahesh hatched a sinister plan to eliminate Mogili forever. Huzurabad ACP Madhavi said that Mahesh searched YouTube for safe ways to commit murder before the crime.

On Saturday night, as Mogili was returning home on his bicycle from the Pirila festival in Madipalli village, Mahesh lurked near a deserted culvert with an iron rod.

As Mogili approached the culvert, Mahesh struck him repeatedly on the head with an iron rod from behind. Lying in a pool of blood, Mogili was unresponsive when Mahesh became certain that he was dead. Mahesh returned home, changed his blood-stained clothes, and fled.

Upon receiving information about the murder, the police formed special investigation teams. When Mahesh was taken into custody on suspicion and rigorously interrogated, he confessed to the crime.

Based on the accused's information, the police recovered the iron rod used in the crime, his bike, and blood-stained clothes. The most significant evidence was the accused's mobile phone, whose YouTube search history exposed his entire plan. The police are now preparing to secure a strict punishment from the court and expunge the accused's criminal record (Rowdy Sheet).
