South Central Railway Train Diversions

The diverted routes will see trains such as the 12590 Secunderabad-Gorakhpur and 12589 Gorakhpur-Secunderabad being rerouted through Majri, Pimpal, Khuti, Mudkhed and Nizamabad. Similarly, the 12723 Secunderabad-New Delhi and 12724 New Delhi-Secunderabad services will also be diverted through these stations, as per the Hindu report.

Additionally, the 20805 Visakhapatnam-New Delhi and 20806 New Delhi-Visakhapatnam trains, which typically travel through Vizianagaram, Rayagada, Titlagarh, Raipur and Nagpur, have been eliminated until July 5. The 12803 Visakhapatnam-Nizamuddin and 12804 Nizamuddin-Visakhapatnam services will also be diverted on specific dates during this period.

The 12723 Hyderabad-New Delhi and 12724 New Delhi-Hyderabad trains have been rescheduled by one and two hours, respectively, on certain days. The 12791 Secunderabad-Danapur service has also been rescheduled by 75 minutes from July 4 to 6.

These disruptions are set to inconvenience regular commuters, particularly those who rely on the Balharshah-Kazipet Memu Express and Sirpur-Kagaznagar Intercity Express for their daily travel needs. Residents of Mancherial, Peddapalli, Ramagundam, Jammikunta and Kazipet, who frequently use these services, will be forced to seek alternative modes of transportation, such as buses or superfast express trains, which operate on limited schedules.

"The planned cancellation of 78 trains has been announced, and all affected passengers will receive a complete refund for their purchased tickets," said a railway official. "Among the cancelled trains, only four operate daily, while the rest run on a weekly or biweekly basis. These cancellations are necessary to facilitate crucial ongoing works."
