'Truth Behind Sacrilege Video Exposed': Raghav Chadha Seeks Punjab CM Mann's Resignation Over AAP's Forensic Report

Bhagwant Mann Video Row: Raghav Chadha, who recently switched to the BJP from AAP, targeted his former party colleague and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann over the video row, demanding his resignation, on Thursday. Mann is under fire since an "objectionable" video emerged on social media.

"The truth behind the sacrilege video involving Guru-Dhokhi Bhagwant Mann, which was sought to be concealed through a fabricated forensic report by Bhagwant Mann and the Punjab government, has now been exposed. One thing has become very clear after this. Those who had doubts about whether the sacrilege video was real or AI-generated, fake or genuine, have now had their doubts removed. If the video was not real, there would have been no need for Bhagwant Mann and the Aam Aadmi Party to commission a fabricated forensic report to hide it," he said.

Chadha Demands Probe

The entire Sikh community, the Guru Nanak Naamleva community, is hurt, angry, and enraged today, the Rajya Sabha MP said, adding that an investigation should also be conducted into how this fabricated forensic report was procured.

"Which officers were involved? Which government money or private money was used to bribe this report? Does this also constitute money laundering? Misuse of government funds. All these things are now under investigation, and investigation and action must be taken on this matter," he asserted.

Chadha claimed that a probe conducted by the Gurugram Police has removed all doubts about the authenticity of the said video. The remarks came two days after the Gurugram Police arrested two men on a complaint regarding the alleged procurement of a fabricated forensic report related to the viral video linked to the controversy involving Mann.

The Haryana Police registered a case on Tuesday on a complaint from a man who alleged that he was approached to procure the fabricated forensic report of the video.

What Is Video Controversy?

Earlier this month, the Akal Takht, the supreme temporal body of Sikhs, declared Mann "guru dokhi" (anti-guru) and "Khalsa panth virodhi" (anti-Khalsa panth) over the video purportedly showing a man resembling him indulging in objectionable activities with pictures of Sikh gurus and slain militant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale.

The Punjab unit of the AAP has also claimed that forensic tests conducted at two laboratories have shown that the man in the video is not the chief minister.
