As the investigation into Twisha Sharma’s death case moves ahead, the CBI is set to intensify the probe by taking Samarth Singh and his mother Giribala Singh to the residence to reconstruct the sequence in which Twisha's body was allegedly brought down.

Investigators are expected to create a spot recreation based on the statements they recorded during questioning. Samarth Singh has reportedly stated during the questioning that he had brought Twisha down from the noose, whereas his mother Giribala, had untied the noose from her neck. Both the accused will be made to perform their own story at the scene.

NDTV, quoting sources, stated that for this investigation, an 80 kg dummy will be used. The recreation of the event will be undertaken to establish whether the chain of events alleged by the accused was feasible and possible, and whether it matches the Forensic investigation and recovery report of the home. The strength and loading bearing capacity of the belt, which has been alleged to be used for hanging, will also be investigated.

The present development follows after the agency arrested Giribala Singh after her anticipatory bail was cancelled by the MP High Court. She and Samarth Singh have been taken into the CBI custody till June 2.

It is expected that before confronting both the accused with each other for cross-examination of the statements, the agency will grill them separately. The sources stated that the investigators had already obtained replies from the mother on various points, including Twisha’s pregnancy as well as injuries found on her body.

Twisha Sharma was found hanging at her in-laws' home on May 12. Following this, her parents alleged dowry harassment and raised doubts on the suspicious death, and hence demanded an independent probe into the death case, after which it was handed over to CBI by the Apex court.

Earlier, an extensive forensic examination was also done by the agency along with an expert team from Delhi at the Katara Hills residence of her in-laws, where the investigation team spent several hours gathering evidence. During the examination, Samarth Singh was questioned by the interrogators about Twisha’s death and the incident.

'Tunnel View' Technology To Unravel The Mystery

Advancing the investigation into the high-profile case, the CBI is using an advanced 'tunnel view' investigation technology. Under this, the agency will digitally reconstruct Sharma's final moments before she died in Bhopal.

According to the report, investigators are preparing a detailed minute-by-minute simulation of events to determine the exact sequence of circumstances leading to the former model-actor's death.
