A shocking incident at Bihar’s Anugraha Narayan Road railway station has landed a YouTuber in trouble after he slapped a random train passenger just to gain online fame. The accused, identified as Ritesh Kumar, planned the act with a friend, who recorded the entire incident to post on social media.

Kumar waited at the railway platform for a train to start moving before approaching it and suddenly slapping an unsuspecting passenger. His friend captured the moment on video, hoping it would go viral.

However, as the clip spread across social media, people reacted with outrage, calling for strict action against him. Many users tagged the authorities, urging them to punish Kumar for his reckless behavior.

RPF Takes Swift Action

Responding to the public outcry, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) tracked down and arrested Kumar. He was later ordered to issue an apology for his actions.

The RPF shared the news on X (formerly Twitter), stating, "No compromise on passenger security! A YouTuber who slapped a passenger on a moving train for social media fame has been tracked & arrested by RPF Dehri-on-Sone!"

They further warned that such reckless acts would not be tolerated, emphasizing the importance of passenger safety.

Kumar's Apology

In a video statement, Kumar admitted his mistake and explained that his sole intention was to increase his social media followers.

"I am a YouTuber and create videos for Instagram. To gain more followers, I went to Anugraha Narayan Road railway station and slapped a passenger on a moving train. This was a mistake, and I will never do it again. Please forgive me," he said.

Social Media Reacts

Kumar’s arrest received widespread praise from social media users, many of whom demanded stricter punishments for similar offenders.

One user wrote, "Good job, RPF! People like him should be taught a lesson." Another commented, "Without strict punishment, they will never learn. A heavy fine should be imposed."

A third user added, "I hope all those who vandalize public property and create such nuisance are also arrested and punished severely."

With the increasing trend of social media stunts for fame, authorities are becoming more vigilant against reckless behavior in public spaces. This incident serves as a reminder that actions taken for online clout can have real-world consequences.
