Scorching heat and heatwaves do not seem to be offering any respite to the entire North India, including the national capital, Delhi. After a few days of relief, Delhi is once again expected to witness a fresh spell of intense heat. According to the Meteorological Department, the residents of Delhi will experience continuous heatwave conditions for the next four days starting Monday.
A yellow alert has also been issued by the IMD for the period from June 10 to June 13. During this time, both the maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to rise.

According to the IMD, heatwaves are likely to affect Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, the Gangetic plains of West Bengal, Odisha, parts of Punjab, and Haryana. In some areas of eastern Uttar Pradesh, there is a possibility of severe to very severe heatwaves.
The IMD stated that extremely heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places in Goa, southern central Maharashtra, and coastal and interior Karnataka today.
Delhi Weather:
The weather in Delhi is expected to remain hot today. The Meteorological Department forecasts that Delhi's maximum temperature will reach 44 degrees Celsius on Monday. Along with the rising temperatures, strong hot winds will blow, intensifying the heatwave effects, especially in open areas.

According to the Meteorological Department, from Monday to Thursday, the maximum temperature will hover around 44 to 45 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature may range from 30 to 31 degrees Celsius. For the next four days, the wind speed in Delhi is also expected to be between 20 to 30 kilometers per hour.
