Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday stated that the weather is likely to change in several states in the upcoming days. While the hilly regions are expected to receive light to heavy rain, temperature is likely to increase in states like Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan. The weather department stated that after days of experiencing heat, residents of Delhi-NCR, Bihar, Jharkhand, and parts of Uttar Pradesh will receive light rain alongside a gentle breeze. The IMD also stated that multiple districts of Karnataka and Kerala are likely to receive light rain in the next few days.

Delhi-NCR To Receive Rain, Storm

The weather department stated that Delhi-NCR is likely to receive storms and rain in the next few days. It stated that the weather change will provide a relief to the residents of the national capital from scorching heat.

The IMD issued a yellow alert for the storm on April 29, May 2, and May 3, stating that the region is also likely to witness light rain on these dates. The latest weather change is also likely to reduce the temperature by two to three degrees Celsius, and the maximum temperature in the next week is likely to be calculated at 38 degrees Celsius.

Light Rain To Persis In UP, Bihar

The weather department stated that the eastern districts of Uttar Pradesh are likely to receive light rain with a gentle breeze in the upcoming few days. It stated that the weather change is likely to reduce temperature, providing major relief to the residents. However, the temperature is likely to increase in the western region of the state.

While the average maximum temperature is likely to remain around 38 degrees Celsius, the maximum temperature in some cities is likely to be recorded at 42 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, several regions of Bihar and Jharkhand are likely to witness light to heavy rainfall in the upcoming few days.
