The northern part of India is still reeling under an acute cold wave with a slight haze in some areas during the morning hours. The effect of snowfall in the hilly regions could be felt in the plains. The rain in several areas of Delhi NCR has, however, done away with the severe fog but respite from cold is still nowhere to be seen.

As per the weather department, the cold wave is likely to increase in the national capital from Wednesday. However, the weather will be clear and sunny during the daytime. Light rain is also expected in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
