Delhi Baba Scandal: Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati, accused of sexually harassing 17 female students at a private management institute in Delhi’s Vasant Kunj area, is currently on the run, and the Delhi Police has stepped up efforts to nab him. The self-styled ‘godman’ is reportedly attempting to evade arrest by using disguises, NDTV quoted police sources as saying.
The Delhi Police conducted raids to arrest him, in which they found that Chaitanyananda had been frequently changing his disguise to avoid arrest. According to the police, the Delhi-based godman refrains from using a mobile phone or any electronic device to minimise the risk of being traced.
However, a lookout notice has been issued against Swami Chaitanyananda, and multiple teams are using technical surveillance to track his whereabouts.
