Khalistani terrorist Sukhdool Singh aka Sukha Duneke has reportedly been killed in a shooting incident in Winnipeg, Canada. While local police of Winnipeg confirmed the incident of shooting in the area of Aldgate Road on September 18, they have not confirmed it as being fatal. Meanwhile, soon after the news of his death, jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi claimed responsibility for killing Sukhdool Singh.
Who Was Khalistani Terrorist Sukhdool Singh
- The Khalistani supporter has several criminal cases registered in his name in India. Duneke who was a part of the Davinder Bambiha gang from Moga district fled Punjab in 2017 allegedly with the help of local policemen. With the help of local policemen, he obtained a passport and police clearance certificate on forged documents and fled to Canada.
- Duneke was allegdly associated with the pro-Khalistan outfits and was said to be linked to Canada-based Khalistan operative Arshdeep Singh aka Arsh Dala a designated terrorist in India.
- He faces over 20 criminal cases that are registered against him of murder and other heinous crimes in Punjab and nearby states. He mostly made calls for extortion and indulged in contracted killings.
- In 2022, the Khalistani supporter allegedly conspired to kill kabaddi player Sandeep Singh Nangal with the help of his associates during a kabaddi match at Mallian village in Jalandhar.
- He has also been included in the list of most wanted criminals, which was released on Wednesday, by the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
- Investigations had revealed that these gangs had carried out targeted killing to terrorise the public and extort money.
