The Jharkhand BJP will actively participate in the upcoming Bihar Assembly election, with party leaders and workers being deployed across border districts ahead of Durga Puja. This decision was taken during a recent coordination meeting of organisational ministers from both states in Purnia, Bihar.

Under the plan, district-level workers from Jharkhand will also be included in the campaign. Party presidents from border districts have been tasked with taking charge of neighbouring assembly constituencies, where they will set up temporary camps.

A list of senior leaders and workers has already been forwarded to Vinod Tawde, the Bihar BJP’s organisational in-charge, who has urged them to intensify their efforts through personal letters.

Former Jharkhand BJP president Deepak Prakash, currently co-in-charge of the Bihar unit, will play a key role in the campaign. Tribal leaders from Jharkhand are also being mobilised to campaign in tribal-dominated constituencies of Bihar.

To support the exercise, the BJP will establish assistance centres in Sahibganj, Deoghar, and Koderma. These will function as coordination hubs for managing social dynamics, accommodation, and transport for leaders and campaigners. A special centre in Sahibganj will cater to campaign and lodging needs for the flood-affected Seemanchal region.
