Jharkhand Train Accident: A major tragedy was narrowly averted on Thursday morning when the Gonda-Asansol Express collided with a truck on the Howrah-Jasidih main line near the Navadih railway gate in Rohini.
The impact of the collision was so severe that it destroyed the front portion of the truck and also damaged two motorcycles near the crossing. A motorcyclist was injured. However, no fatalities were reported in the incident, news agency IANS reported.

Upon receiving information about the accident, officials from the Asansol Railway Division rushed to the spot. The injured were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, and the track was cleared to ensure the smooth movement of other trains. A four-member team has been formed to determine the cause of the accident, and further investigation is underway.
Gonda-Asansol Express Collides With Truck
Speaking to Jagran.com, locals stated that a loaded truck was crossing the railway crossing when a train approached and struck it from the rear. After the tragic collision, the truck reportedly lost control and overturned onto a motorcycle, trapping it underneath.
The impact of the collision was so severe that it destroyed the front portion of the truck and left two motorcycle riders injured. However, no casualties were reported in the incident. Villagers pulled the injured out from beneath the truck and rushed them to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
