RINPAS (Ranchi Institute of Neuro-Psychiatry and Allied Sciences), located in Kanke, Ranchi, is getting ready to celebrate the completion of its 100th year. Preparations for this centenary celebration are in their final stages.

In connection with this, the state's Health Minister, Dr Irfan Ansari, personally visited the venue on Monday to review the arrangements for the historic ceremony, which is scheduled for September 4. After his inspection, the minister gave strict instructions to the department officials to ensure that all preparations are completed on time and with full dedication.

He emphasised that this centenary celebration is not just a historic moment but will also mark the beginning of a new era for mental health services in the state. He said the event is a matter of pride for all of Jharkhand and will bring a new ray of hope for patients with mental health issues.

To maintain the dignity of the event, the minister has also issued some special instructions. He stated that invited guests will only be allowed to enter through designated gates, administrative orders for security and traffic management will be strictly followed, and discipline must be maintained at the venue. All departmental officials have been told to carry out their duties diligently.

Accepting the Health Minister's request and invitation, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has also agreed to be present at the ceremony. On this occasion, mental health experts, social workers, and departmental officials from across the state will also be in attendance.

This celebration of RINPAS completing 100 years will not only be an opportunity to remember the institute's glorious past but will also symbolise the beginning of a new chapter in the field of mental health services.
