DIY Home Remedies To Remove Dark Spots
Aloe Vera Gel
The presence of aloin, the natural depigmenting ingredient in aloe vera, is known to lighten the dark spots and minimise pigmentation and provide a brighter and glowing skin. Take fresh aloe vera gel from the leaf and apply it to the dark spots at nighttime. Apply it overnight and wash it out in the morning.
Yoghurt
The lactic acid in yoghurt works as an exfoliant that helps lighten the dark spots. It is simple to use. Just apply plain yoghurt to the face and wash it off after 15-20 minutes.
Turmeric
Turmeric is loaded with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, which reduce hyperpigmentation. Mix one teaspoon of turmeric with honey or milk to make a paste and apply to the affected areas. Leave for 15-20 minutes before rinsing off.

Lemon Juice
Lemon juice has natural bleach properties due to its high vitamin C content, which helps to lighten dark spots and brighten skin tone. Squeeze fresh lemon juice on a cotton ball and dab over the dark spots. Leave it for 10-15 minutes and wash with lukewarm water. Avoid sunlight and lemon juice makes skin more vulnerable to sunlight.
Potato Juice
The presence of the enzyme called catecholase in potatoes helps whiten the skin. Grate a raw potato and extract the juice. Apply to the dark spots using a cotton ball and leave it for 15-20 minutes and wash it off.
