Vinegar works excellently to clean stains, grease, and grime from clothes and surfaces like countertops, stovetops, and sinks. Moreover, it can also be used to clean microwave ovens as well as windows and mirror glasses. When vinegar is mixed with water, it can remove stubborn stains from clothes.

Diluted vinegar can remove surface dirt, bacteria, and pesticides from fruits and vegetables. One can spray vinegar on the surface of them and wash them off with clean water.

Skin And Hair Care

Vinegar, especially apple cider vinegar works wonders for skin and hair. It is used as a hair rinse to restore its shine and balance the scalp’s pH. It can also be used as a skin toner. Diluted vinegar helps in minimising pores and fighting acne. Moreover, it helps in removing foot odour.

Vinegar can be considered a natural pest control repellent. Get rid of ants and cockroaches by sprinkling vinegar on the corners of the home. It also kills unwanted weeds in the garden.

Apple cider vinegar offers potential health benefits. Consuming a small amount of diluted vinegar before a meal can help improve digestion, reduce bloating, and regulate blood sugar levels. Besides, its anti-bacterial properties act as a remedy for sore throat when gargled with warm water. 

Preserving Food

Vinegar is used in preserving food, especially pickles. Use vinegar to create a brine to preserve cucumbers, onions and carrots, extending their shelf-life and infusing a tangy flavour. Moreover, it also helps in tenderising meat, by breaking down its proteins.
