Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti is celebrated with immense enthusiasm and fervour by Sikhs around the world. This significant day marks the birth anniversary of the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji. He was a revered spiritual leader, philosopher and warrior-king who played a pivotal role in shaping the Sikh faith. He was the founder of the Khalsa Panth and introduced the Five Ks which are the articles of faith worn by Sikhs.
Guru Gobind Singh Ji's contributions to Sikhism are immeasurable and his bravery, wisdom and compassion continue to inspire generations. On this day, devotees gather at gurudwaras to pay homage, recite prayers and participate in langar seva, commemorating the Guru's remarkable life and legacy.
