EVERY year on April 14 or 15, everyone celebrates Poila Baisakh, but this year it is on today, April 15, which is also known as Bengali New Year. People around India, especially in the Bengali community, commemorate this day with a lot of joy, happiness, and love, as well as delicious food, enjoyable music, and other things.

Interestingly, Poila Baisakh's Sankranti tithi will be observed on April 14 at 15.12, or 3.12 p.m. In West Bengal and among the Bengali community in Assam, Tripura, and Bangladesh, Poila Baisakh 2023, which celebrates the start of the Bengali Era in 1430, is a particularly lavish event. In Assam, this festival is also known as Bihu or Bohag Bihu.
