The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has taken a significant step towards enhancing passenger amenities at the Anand Vihar station on the Delhi-Meerut Namo Bharat corridor. A modern pod hotel, fine dining restaurants, and other passenger-centric commercial facilities will be developed within the station premises.

Under this initiative, a state-of-the-art pod hotel with a capacity of 30 pods will be constructed inside the station. This hotel has been designed specifically for passengers who wish to rest for a short duration during their journey.

Convenience For Transit Passengers

This facility will prove to be extremely useful for passengers at a bustling multi-modal transit hub like Anand Vihar. Passengers arriving in Delhi from Meerut via the Namo Bharat train, who need to connect to long-distance trains, will be able to rest within the station premises itself. This will save them both time and effort.

Premium Dining And Commercial Spaces

Under this project, an area of over 4,000 square meters has been licensed for property development. This space is distributed across four different locations at various levels of the station to ensure better integration of amenities in high-traffic passenger areas.

In addition to the pod hotel, there is a plan to develop a premium dining restaurant. Furthermore, food retail outlets, office spaces, apparel showrooms, and other commercial facilities have also been proposed.
