Delhi Weather Today: The national capital, Delhi, woke up to foggy conditions and air quality in the poor category, as the city braces for intensified wintry weather in the coming days. As per the weather analysis by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the presence of another fresh western disturbance and the 'subtropical westerly Jet Stream' over northeast India is likely to impact the weather conditions in north India.

However, the Air Quality Index (AQI) of the city had improved significantly in the past few days as rain had swept away smog, leading to comparatively better air. Yet, the AQI remains under the poor category on Friday at 7 am with a reading of 234, the Central Pollution Control Board data said.

Delhi Weather Today: Cloudy Sky, Shallow Fog

As per the forecast by the IMD, shallow to moderate fog is likely to prevail on Friday, January 30, with 'generally cloudy sky.' IMD's latest weather bulletin anticipates, "Generally cloudy sky.
