JNUSU Election 2025 Schedule: Key Dates For Voter List, Nominations, Voting And Results

The voting dates for the Jawaharlal Nehru University Students' Union elections 2025-26 have been announced. The elections will be held on November 4. The Election Committee has released the schedule, according to which the voter list will be displayed on October 24 and nominations will be filed from October 27. Counting of votes will take place on November 4, and the results will be declared on November 6.

JNUSU Election 2025 Schedule: Key Dates For Voter List, Nominations, Voting And Results

The Election Committee for the Jawaharlal Nehru University Student Union (JNUSU) has released a provisional schedule for the 2025-26 elections, with voting slated for November 4.

According to the schedule, the process begins on Friday, October 24, with the display of the provisional voter list. Corrections to the list will be accepted until 5 pm on the same day.

Nomination papers will be issued on Saturday, October 26, from 2 pm to 5 pm. The period for filing nominations is scheduled for October 27, from 9:30 am to 5 pm.

On October 28, the list of valid nominations will be displayed at 10 am. This will be followed by a window for withdrawing nominations from 2 pm to 5 pm. The final list of candidates will be displayed at 7 pm, followed by a press conference with the candidates at 8 pm.

Key campaigning events will include the School General Body Meetings (GBMs) from October 29 to 31 and the University GBM on November 1. The Presidential Debate will take place at 8 pm on November 2.

Voting will be held on November 4 from 9 am to 5:30 pm. The counting of votes will commence at 9 pm that evening, with the final results to be declared on November 6.
