Muzammil Ibrahim Claims He 'Left' Deepika Padukone

Muzammil Ibrahim claimed that she approached him after seeing him in music videos and that the two stayed friends even after their romance ended in a conversation with Siddharth Kannan in 2025.

"We dated for two years. I was the first guy she met in Bombay and vice versa. It was my first actual relationship. Deepika proposed to me first. We broke up because I left her, but I don’t regret it. I never regret leaving anyone. Plus, I was a star at that time; she was not. She was a model, but I had become an actor already," he shared.

Additionally, he said that throughout their time together, he was more successful than she was. The Special Ops actor did admit, though, that their positions have drastically shifted over time.
