Rajpal Yadav made his first statement in the Rs 9 crore check bounce case following his release from Tihar Jail until March 18. Days after the actor turned himself in to the police due to the outstanding debt, the Delhi High Court granted relief on Monday. He addressed the media and expressed his gratitude to Bollywood and fans nationwide following his release.

Rajpal Yadav was seen thanking people and addressing his arrest in the video that news agency ANI posted on their social media handle. With lawyers surrounding him, he took a moment to say that he would appreciate all of the help. Dressed in modest clothing and seemed composed, he spoke with the media for a brief moment amid heavy security.

Rajpal Yadav said, "Mujhe 30 saal ho jayenge Bollywood mei. Pure desh ka bacha bacha mere saath raha, isliye main 200-250 filmein kar paya. Bharatiya cinema ka bacha, buddha, naujawan mere kaleje ka tukda hai...mere saath tha aur mere saath hai. Pure desh ki janta mere saath thi."

Rajpal Yadav addressed the ongoing legal struggle in relation to the check bounce case, stating that it began in 2012 and that he has appeared everywhere the High Court has issued orders over the past ten years. He also stated that he will continue to go wherever orders are issued moving forward. "Mujhe jis tarah se pure desh, duniya aur Bollywood ne pyaar diya, agar mujh pe koi aarop hai, toh main 100 per cent available hoon. Thank you High Court, aapne mujhe sunne ka mauka diya."

Rajpal Yadav Released From Jail Interim Bail

Rajpal Yadav's jail term was temporarily suspended until March 18 by the Delhi High Court on Monday. He was ordered by the Justice Swarna Kanta Sharma bench to provide a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh and one surety bond of the same amount.

The Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor had requested that his sentence be suspended on February 19, citing a marriage in his family, and the court observed that Rs 1.5 crore had been put in the complainant's bank account, M/s Murali Projects Pvt Ltd.
