A shocking incident has emerged from Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, where two minors brutally attacked a Class 10 student inside a snooker club. The violent assault, which took place in the Tila Jamalpura police station area, saw the victim stabbed 27 times in a span of just 30 seconds.

The Incident

Although the attack occurred on February 15, the chilling CCTV footage only surfaced on February 22. The video captures the two minors entering the club in a calculated, "film-style" manner before launching a relentless assault. The footage shows the 16-year-old victim desperately trying to escape as the attackers chased him around the club, cornering him and using both a knife and a dagger to inflict serious wounds on his back and shoulders. Despite other people being present at the scene, the footage reveals that no one intervened, seemingly paralysed by fear.

Motive: A Dispute Over Dominance

Investigations suggest the attack was fueled by a desire for revenge. The victim, a resident of the Gautam Nagar area and a regular at the club, reportedly attended the same coaching center as his attackers. According to the police, an altercation had broken out between the boys a few days prior during a game of pool. The dispute, centered on establishing dominance, reportedly led to the victim slapping the two accused, an act that prompted the retaliatory stabbing.

Current Status Of Investigation

Following a complaint by the victim’s family, the police have registered an FIR. However, the family has expressed concerns that the initial charges are under minor sections of the law. Authorities have stated that additional, more stringent charges will be added once the victim’s full medical report is processed. As of now, the two accused remain at large, and police teams are conducting raids to apprehend them.
