Delhi-Meerut Namo Bharat Metro: The launch of the full-length Namo Bharat Rapid Rail Corridor, alongside the new Meerut Metro, is set to drastically reduce the time it takes for passengers to reach Delhi’s metro network. The Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS is being hailed as India’s fastest urban transit system, designed to significantly shorten the travel time between Delhi and Meerut.

Equipped with modern coaches, integrated ticketing, and high-frequency services, the new corridor is set to revolutionise daily commuting across the National Capital Region (NCR).

The Meerut Metro will be India’s fastest metro system, with a maximum operational speed of approximately 120 km/h. The metro will cover its entire route in just 30 minutes, including all scheduled stops.

For passengers starting their journey in the national capital, the Namo Bharat service will begin at Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi, which serves as the main station on the corridor. From here, trains will travel through Ghaziabad and continue on to Modipuram in Meerut, with easy connections to the Meerut Metro at designated interchanges.
