Kerala SIR Draft Electoral Roll: The Election Commission of India on Tuesday released the draft electoral rolls for Kerala following a Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise. The update comes ahead of the State Assembly elections scheduled for next year.

Officials said the house-to-house verification phase in Kerala concluded on December 18, clearing the way for the publication of the draft list.

Kerala is among nine States and three Union Territories where the second phase of the SIR was announced in November 2025. The revision covers 321 districts and 1,843 Assembly constituencies across Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Puducherry, Lakshadweep, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

The exercise aims to update voter data, remove inaccuracies and ensure eligible voters are included before the polls.

How To Check Your Name In The Voter List

Voters can verify their details using the following options:

- Download the draft roll (PDF):

Visit the Voter Services Portal, choose your district and Assembly constituency, select the part number and name, and download the PDF.

- Online search:

Go to https://electoralsearch.eci.gov.in/ and use any of these methods:

  •  Search by EPIC: Enter your EPIC number, select the State, fill the captcha and search.
  •  Search by personal details: Enter name, relative’s name, date of birth, district and constituency.
  •  Search by mobile number: Use the mobile number linked to your voter ID.

What If Your Name Is Missing?

If you cannot find your name in the draft roll:

  • Contact your Booth Level Officer (BLO) for verification

  • Check with the local Block Development Office

  • If excluded, file a claim or objection with the District Election Officer

The window for submitting claims and objections will remain open from the date of draft publication until January 22, 2026.

Election officials have urged voters to check their details carefully and report errors or omissions within the deadline to ensure inclusion in the final electoral roll before the elections.
