MP Horror: In a shocking incident, a husband crossed all limits of brutality by assaulting his wife for not serving him food by hand. The man put an iron chain around her neck, locked it and tied it to a pillar and then burnt her private parts using an iron rod. Somehow the woman cut the chain and reached Khilchipur police station and recited her ordeal. The police registered an FIR and arrested the husband.
The woman has been identified as Chhipipura resident Mangibai, wife of Sardar Singh Tanwar. “The husband and wife live alone in the house, they had a child who passed away 3-4 years ago. The husband is an alcoholic,” said Kamal Singh Gehlot, TI Khilchipur.

In her complaint, the woman stated that she performs both labour work and household duties. On June 10, at around 12 noon, her husband started abusing her over food-related issues and became enraged when she did not serve him food by hand. He then assaulted her with a stick.
She further stated that on June 11, while she was going to Khilchipur Police Station to lodge a report, her husband stopped her near the Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple in Khilchipur and again beat her. During the incident, a resident of Gadiyaluhar, identified as Balu Tanwar, intervened and rescued her. Thereafter, the husband forcibly took her back home, where he tied her with an iron chain and threatened her. The woman was kept tied from morning till evening after which she managed to break free and run away.
Husband Wanted To 'Frighten' The Wife
The FIR mentions the woman was burnt at various locations on the body, including her private parts and thighs using a heated iron rod. It also said that the husband threatened to kill her, and intended to frighten her during the assault.
A few days back, a Delhi Police constable was arrested for assaulting his ex-girlfriend in a posh society in Sector 56, Gurugram. The accused grabbed the girl by her hair and beat her. While fleeing, he hit the society gate with his Thar.
The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed in the society. Police arrested the accused and sent him to jail. According to police, the accused has been identified as Ronit Yadav, a resident of Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, and a constable in the Delhi Police. He is currently posted at a Delhi Metro station.
