Faridabad Gang Rape Case: A 25-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped and assaulted before being thrown out of a moving vehicle on the Gurugram-Faridabad road in the early hours of December 30. The survivor, a mother of three, is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Faridabad, where her condition is critical. Police said the incident occurred after she accepted a lift while returning home late at night due to the non-availability of public transport. Two men have been arrested in connection with the case and further investigation is underway.

Faridabad Gang Rape Case: 10 Key Updates
- According to the initial investigation, the survivor, a mother of three, left her residence following a heated dispute with her mother on December 29
- Before leaving, she informed her sister that she was heading to a friend’s home in Faridabad Sector 23.
- She intended to return home the same evening, but was delayed and eventually left her friend’s place around midnight.

- She waited for transport near Metro Chowk, but was unable to find any public transport.
- After waiting a while, she accepted a lift from two men travelling in a white Eeco van. However, instead of giving her a lift, they diverted the vehicle to a secluded stretch of the Gurugram-Faridabad Road, where they assaulted and raped her over the next two to three hours.
- After driving around through the night, the men reportedly brought her back towards Faridabad and threw her out of the car, moving at nearly 90 kmph near Raja Chowk in the Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Nagar area between 3 am and 4 am.

- The victim sustained grave injuries to her face and head.
- She repeatedly called for help and later managed to call her sister, who took her to the nearby Badshah Khan Civil Hospital. The doctors initially admitted her but later referred her to AIIMS Delhi. However, she was eventually shifted to a private hospital in Faridabad.
- The doctors said that the woman is currently stable but critically injured, having suffered multiple fractures and deep facial wounds requiring more than 20 stitches.
- Meanwhile, the police nabbed both the accused within 48 hours, who hail from Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Both accused were presented before a city court on Wednesday and were sent to judicial custody.
