Jagran Correspondent, South Delhi: Chaos erupted on Wednesday morning in Delhi’s Okhla Phase 1 when an oxygen cylinder exploded leaving one person dead and two others injured. The accident happened while unloading oxygen cylinders from a truck near the warehouse in front of the community building located in Okhla Phase-1.
According to reports, police and fire brigade teams arrived at the scene as soon as the incident was reported. The three people were admitted to the hospital where one person died during treatment.

Factory Windows Shattered Due To Blast
According to locals, a loud explosion occurred around 10:00 am while unloading oxygen cylinders. The explosion was so powerful that it could be heard from far away. Some glass windows of the nearby factories also broke.

According to bystanders, one person was thrown approximately 50 to 100 metre away when the cylinder exploded.

In February this year, 13 people, including six policemen and fire brigade personnel injured after an LPG cylinder exploded at a home in northwest Delhi's Majlis Park. The fire was so intense that it spread to the nearby premises, damaging the vehicles and property parked in the stilt area.
The fire brigade officials and police personnel rushed to the spot soon after receiving information about the fire incident.
