Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has stated that the eastern and central parts of the country are likely to witness heavy to very heavy rainfall in the coming days. As per the weather department, the coastal regions are also expected to receive thunderstorms, gusty winds, and lightning. Apart from this, 13 districts of Bihar continue to face the flood-like situation due to a sudden surge in water level in the rivers.
As per the weather department, heavy rainfall is expected in several states, including Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Bihar, East Madhya Pradesh, East Uttar Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, West Bengal, and Sikkim. The residents have been asked to follow the guidelines and limit their outings during rain to avoid any inconveniences.
Delhi-NCR Weather Update
In its advisory, the weather department stated that Delhi and its nearby cities are not likely to witness fresh rainfall on Wednesday. While the maximum temperature is likely to be calculated at 35 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature is expected to remain around 23 degrees Celsius.

Heavy Rain Likely In Bengal
The IMD has stated that several districts of West Bengal, such as Purba Bardhaman, Hooghly, Bankura, Purba, Paschim Medinipur, and South 24 Parganas, are set to witness heavy rainfall at least till Thursday. Similar weather conditions are likely in the sub-Himalayan districts, including Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Alipurduar, Jalpaiguri, and Cooch Behar, over the next five days due to an active monsoon and favorable wind pattern.
Flood Alert In Bihar
At least 13 districts of Bihar, including Patna, Muzaffarpur, Bhagalpur, Munger, Khagaria, and Lakhisarai, have been facing the flood threat due to a sudden rise in water levels. As per the administration, the level has increased in the Ganga, Kosi, and Bagmati rivers, leading to a crisis in these regions. The residents have been advised to follow the guidelines and maintain a distance from the water bodies.
