Mumbai Metro Line 3: In a major boost to Mumbai’s metro connectivity, the final stretch of the Aarey-Cuffe Parade Metro Line 3 linking Acharya Atre Chowk (Worli) to Cuffe Parade is set to open this month. Once operational, ridership on the fully underground corridor is expected to triple, rising from the current 60,000 daily passengers to nearly two lakh, Times Now reported.

The launch is expected to provide an efficient transit system, offering relief from overcrowded suburban trains and traffic congestion on roads. “Once the line is fully operational and linked with other corridors, ridership will only continue to grow,” Ashwini Bhide, Managing Director of the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC), said.
