'Deadpool & Wolverine' has become one of the most awaited releases of 2024 and fans can't wait to watch the movie on the big screen. The movie has created a lot of speculation on social media as netizens are trying to decode its trailer and figure out the easter eggs. The makers unveiled a new video of 'Deadpool & Wolverine' and fans believe that it showed a glimpse of Lady Deadpool. It was rumoured that Taylor Swift is likely to have a cameo in the movie.
Director Shawn Levy has now finally broken his silence on the rumours of Taylor Swift's cameo. While speaking to Entertainment Weekly, he said, "I regret that I was not quicker to shut it down the first time, so I'm going to default to my very true situation, which is as much as we love each other, the fear of death is so intense in me regarding Ryan and how he desperately wants to avoid talking about all of these proliferating rumors."
'Deadpool & Wolverine' has become the first Marvel movie to be R-rated. It does not come as a surprise for fans as the previous 'Deadpool' movies have also been R-rated. The movie will have 'strong bloody violence and language throughout, gore and sexual references' and is not suitable for the younger audience.
While speaking to Fandango, director Shawn Levy talked about the tone of the movie and said, "We were clear from the get-go. We said, 'Well, the three of us [Levy, Ryan Reynolds, and Hugh Jackman] are going to do this and we've got to be truthful to the tone of a Deadpool movie.' That means we're not softening the edges. We're going to be audacious and funny and edgy, the way I know I, as a fan, want from Logan and from Wade Wilson."

"I have to say, every time Ryan, Hugh, and I went in expecting pushback, we got support from Kevin, from everyone at Disney. They have trusted us and allowed us to do the version of Deadpool & Wolverine that we feel is best," he added.
The movie stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in the lead roles with Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, and Matthew Macfadyen in pivotal roles.
