Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved development projects worth Rs 51 crore aimed at strengthening basic infrastructure and ensuring the effective implementation of public welfare schemes across the state.
The sanctioned funds cover a wide range of sectors including AYUSH, urban development, lighting systems, waste management, and the execution of specific announcements made by the Chief Minister.
Focus On AYUSH And State Infrastructure
A significant portion of the budget has been allocated to the AYUSH department and state facilities:
Rs 25.74 Crore: Approved for the construction of an industrial shed and storage facility at the Rishikul Government Ayurvedic Pharmacy (AushadhiNirmanshala) in Haridwar.
Rs 7.44 Crore: Allocated for the expansion of the Directorate of Ayurvedic and Unani Services building.
Rs 11.41 Crore: Sanctioned for the expansion, renovation, and maintenance of the State Guest House (Circuit House) in Champawat.
Urban Development And Waste Management
To improve amenities in urban areas, the following approvals were granted:
Rs 99.17 Lakh: For LED and street lighting works within the Nagla Municipal Council area.
Rs 15.95 Lakh: For the purchase of waste collection vehicles for 14 municipal bodies across the state.
'Jan-Jan ki Sarkar, Jan-Jan keDwar' Campaign
The Chief Minister has approved Rs 3.16 crore to organize camps in Nyaya Panchayats and Gram Panchayats in all districts under the 'Jan-Jan ki Sarkar, Jan-Jan keDwar' (Government for everyone, at everyone's doorstep) campaign. These camps are designed to resolve public grievances on the spot and deliver the benefits of government schemes directly to the people.

Implementation Of CM's Announcements
Several local development projects promised by the Chief Minister have also received the green light:
Pithoragarh: Rs 50 lakh for the development of a trek route and fair site from Suwalekh to Chandika Ghat.
Vin Area: Rs 67.45 lakh for the construction of a trekking route from Jamradi to RantodaBadkhet.
Almora (Salt Assembly Constituency): Rs 50.68 lakh for installing CCTV cameras in main markets.
Karnaprayag (Sarkot Adarsh Gram Panchayat): Rs 39 lakh for proposed construction works and solar chain-linked fencing.
The Chief Minister has instructed all concerned departments to ensure the swift and efficient implementation of these approved schemes.
