BMC Exit Poll Result 2026: As voting for 29 municipal corporations, including the high-profile Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), India’s richest civic body, concluded at 5:30 PM on Thursday, multiple exit polls predicted a sweep for the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance in Mumbai, while opposition alliances trail behind in the race for Mumbai’s key civic body.

Axis My India Exit Poll
According to Axis My India exit poll, the Mahayuti is projected to win 131-151 seats in the 227-member civic body, while the Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray (UBT)-Raj Thackeray alliance is projected to secure 58-68 seats. The Congress is expected to claim 12-16 wards.

JVC Exit Poll
According to the JVC exit poll, the Mahayuti would secure 138 seats, while the UBT-MNS alliance would win 59 seats. It has also predicted 24 seats for the Congress, which is not contesting as part of its state-level Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA).

Sakal Exit Poll
Similarly, the Sakal exit poll has predicted the Mahayuti emerging as the single largest alliance with 119 seats, the UBT-led bloc winning around 75 seats, Congress securing about 20 wards, and other parties collectively taking 14 seats.

State Election Commissioner Dinesh Waghmare told PTI that voting concluded at 5:30 PM, with voter turnout so far reported at 46-50 per cent.
