In a shocking incident, a newborn baby was found dead in a toiler dustbin in a toilet dustbin at terminal 2 of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai on Tuesday night. The dead body was spotted around 10:30 pm in a trash bin of the high-security terminal, leaving airport authorities horrified. According to the reports, the infant was taken to Cooper Hospital, where doctors declared the newborn dead upon examination.
Mumbai’s Sahar police have filed a complaint against unknown persons and have launched a probe into the matter. The investigators are reviewing the CCTV footage to trace how the infant landed in the dustbin and the individual responsible for abandoning the baby.

Mercedes-Benz Crashed Into Passengers At Terminal 2
The Mumbai airport had come into the news early February this year when a Mercedes-Benz tourist vehicle crashed into passengers at Mumbai airport, leaving five, including 2 foreign travellers, with serious injuries. The Sahar police had taken the driver into custody who had lost control of the vehicle. The incident occurred on level p10 at departure gate no. 2 on February 5 early morning.
"All the victims are male. Two of the victims, including a foreign national, suffered leg fractures. The foreign nationals were from the Czech Republic and were to fly back home from Mumbai. They have been admitted to Nanavati Hospital, Vile Parle, for treatment and one of them may have to undergo surgery," a police official had said.

The Indian nationals who were injured in the incident comprised loaders and trolley handlers. Police said the front portion of the Mercedes was damaged in the incident.
