Mumbai Metro Line 3 Ticket Price Update: In another attempt to ease the domestic commute for Mumbaikers, the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC) has come up with monthly passes to offer a discount on metro tickets. The discounted monthly passes are exclusively available on the MetroConnect3 mobile application, but the authorities are planning to introduce them through NCMC cards in the future, too.

MMRC Launches First Fully Digital Discounted Passes

The discounted passes will be fully digital and app-based, making the Mumbai metro the first metro in the country to offer a pass entirely through a mobile app.

How Much Discount Will Mumbai Metro 3 Digital Pass Offer

- The initiative that aims to make the daily commute more affordable to the people of Mumbai will offer trip-based discounts. Passengers will be able to avail a discount of 15 per cent on a 60-trip pass, and a 45-trip pass offers a 10 per cent discount.

- Through the MetroConnect3 app, commuters can purchase, store, and use their passes directly on their phones, eliminating the need to handle paper tickets.

- The facility is currently available only on the MetroConnect3 App, and the app is available on both Android and iOS platforms.

Mumbai Metro 3 Monthly Pass: Differently Abled To Get 25% Discount

Along with a good discount on monthly passes to the general public, the Mumbai Metro will offer a huge discount of 25 per cent to differently abled people on monthly passes. Along with focus on making the travel experience affordable, comfortable and smooth, the MMRC aims to make the local mobility inclusive.
