Nanded–Mumbai Vande Bharat Express: The much-awaited Hazur Sahib Nanded–Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) Mumbai Vande Bharat Express will begin its inaugural run on August 26. The service, operated by the Central Railway zone, is an extension of the existing CSMT–Jalna–CSMT Vande Bharat Express (Train No. 20705/20706).
Faster Travel Between Nanded And Mumbai
The new Vande Bharat train will cover the 610-km distance in 9 hours and 25 minutes. Currently, the Devgiri Express is the fastest train on this route, taking around 11 hours and 20 minutes. With the new service, passengers can save nearly two hours of travel time.
Nanded–Mumbai Vande Bharat Express: Inaugural Run Details
For its launch, a special service (Train No. 02705) will leave Hazur Sahib Nanded at 11:20 AM on August 26 and reach Mumbai’s CSMT at 9:55 PM the same day.
Nanded–Mumbai Vande Bharat Express: Stoppages Along the Route
The train will halt at eight stations between Nanded and Mumbai. These are:
Parbhani
Jalna
Aurangabad
Manmad
Nashik Road
Kalyan
Thane
Dadar
Nanded–Mumbai Vande Bharat Express: Regular Service Timings
From 27 August onwards, Train No. 20705 will depart from Hazur Sahib Nanded at 5:00 AM (except Wednesdays) and reach CSMT at 2:25 PM.
On the return, Train No. 20706 will leave Mumbai at 1:10 PM (except Thursdays) and arrive in Nanded at 10:50 PM the same day.
Nanded–Mumbai Vande Bharat Express: Train Composition And Seating
The Hazur Sahib Nanded–Mumbai Vande Bharat Express will have 20 coaches, offering both AC Chair Car and Executive Chair Car seating. Together, the train will have a capacity of 1,440 passengers.
Nanded–Mumbai Vande Bharat Express: Ticket Fares
The fare for travelling between Nanded and Mumbai is fixed at Rs 1,610 for AC Chair Car and Rs 2,930 for Executive Chair Car.
This new service is expected to give a major boost to connectivity between Marathwada and Mumbai, reducing journey time and providing modern travel comfort.
