Mumbai Water Cut: The residents of the Mumbai Metropolitan Dombivali area will face a water supply disruption on December 2. Dombivali will face the disruption simultaneously to other areas of Mumbai, including in Ward A, B, C, E, F North, F South, L, M East, M West, N, and S.

In Dombivali, the water supply will remain shut for 9 hours in the East and West divisions.

Dombivali Water Cut: Timings

On Tuesday, the water supply will not be available from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The Municipal Corporation's Water Supply Department has appealed to the people of Dombivli to store sufficient water.

Netivali Water Purification Center will be completely shut down.

Why will the water supply be disrupted?

The area comes under the Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation. In these areas, the water is pumped from the Mohili water treatment plant of the Ulhas River and is purified at the Netivali water purification plant.

The authorities have to undertake urgent electronic and mechanical repair works in the Netivali water purification plant.

The maintenance and repair works of the distribution system will also be carried out during the shutdown.

The residents in both divisions of Dombivali are advised to store adequate water in advance and use it judiciously to avoid facing scarcity.

30-Hour water cut in Mumbai 

The 30-hour water shutdown is already in effect in other parts of Mumbai from today. Several areas are affected by an outage which started on December 1 at 10:00 AM. It will continue until 4:00 PM on Tuesday, December 2.

During the aforementioned time period, some of the affected areas will experience total water outage, while some other areas will face low water pressure.
